Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question but here goes,

Has anyone had any issues with their rear top led clearance lights not being attached correctly?
On mine the contour of the cap prevents the lens with chrome ring not to snap in place as the top and bottom on the chrome ring hit the body before it snaps in place.
So they backed out the screws to let the light base move forward to get the lens and ring to barely grab base and hold. But this also creates water getting behind the light and rubbing into the paint as it hits top and bottom. I see no seal behind the light.

Can the light be moved by repositioning the screws?
Another option is adding some butyl rope caulk behind the light fixture.
Let us know what process CW does to resolve this.

Peace

I would not wait too long for CW to get back to you. You might have the exception but many dealers let things like this slide in hopes that you will go away.

Going directly to to heartland will give you an understanding of what they can without the filter of a middleman and then you can negotiate directly with who is responsible.

HL might have an adapter ring you can put on or let you use an auto body shop if the fiberglass needs reshaping.

I would and Did get my Unit away from camping world body shop as fast as you can. I believe from past personal experience with CW body shop that what Garypowell mentioned in any earlier reply they want you to go away and nothing will get done till you take it somewhere else. Save your unit and get away from CW.

Just got off the phone with Heartland and he said to just go through CW and they will know where to go and who to speak with after the claim is submitted.

Just wanted to thank everyone's help and input. I'm sure it will get figured out. Just hope it is a quick and simple fix.

I'm told lights are fixed. Have to wait on a few finishing warranty issues to be done and will see how it looks. Used same lights. Chrome rings I'm told do not hit body paint now. Will pass on what the fix was when I get it.

Good luck!! Heartland refused to replace my lens that fell off due to the same problem and it's still under warranty. CW here submitted the request and I was told to get a hold of Heartland if I wanted to fight it. Sent them (Heartland) an email yesterday and the have not responded.

Not the best picture, but I am wondering if the light is flipped 180 degrees.

I received an email response from Heartland this afternoon, ......
The light has never been hit by any object. Beginning to doubt the sincerity of these people. I have 3 more weeks left of the first year warranty. Are they void?
