Those of you who tied into the porch light, can you take the electric controller box (white) apart and tie into that box or what do you need to tie into the controller box to connect to porch light power? Thanks Steve

I don't know what led strip you purchased, but mine (Inno TechRV) requires 12 volts that plugs into a narrow RF module using a simple connector jack. A 4-connector signal plug then extends fom the RF module to the LED strip; The supplied signal cable was about 10 feet long. You could probably fit the power jack and RF module inside the porch light. The cable from the RF module to the LED string could probably be shotened by cut/splice and then run up to the LED string. The only exposed wire would be the signal cable from the housing to the LED string.
