linoleum floor

Have 3200rl bighorn approx. 1 month old. Sent in for warranty work. Thought screws were coming up under linoleum in kitchen. Not the case, they said it was debris under linoleum and they would have to replace the linoleum. My question is are they going to replace the floor without removing the cabinets and the carpet. Might be better left alone. Thanks for reply.

A few years ago we had a travel trailer. It developed a soft spot in the floor because of a leak. we sent the camper back to the factory for the repair. they replaced the floor covering and put a molding down around the cabinets and walls. It was a nice neat job. I would imagine that this is what will be done in your unit.

Sometimes my lino installer will tap down the offensive peice of debris with a flat peice of wood and a hammer.

As long as it is not metal , which will peirce the floor, you could barely notice the repair.
