Can you install a Lithium iron phosphate battery in a 2019 Heartland Mallard M27 trailer. I have read that these type of batteries need a specific type of charger for the battery to last. Will they work alright with the charging system in the trailer or does it need a newer type of charger or charging system?

Another point about the trailer, it has a connection for a solar panel. I do not know how much this affects which battery is used with the trailerl.

You need to determine which converter you have in the rig. Then you can find out if you will need to update.
