Re: Looking into a New Hartland EDGE

OK,,, Yep,, I know where it's made,,, We were with some friends competing at the World Championship Gumbo Cookoff in New Iberia, La when that photo was made,,, about 2 years ago. I was not thinking photo when I read your post,,, most of the time I'm not thinking anyway,,,, :) 5 years ago we got 3rd place,,, 4 years ago we made the final table of judging... But now they wont let a Texan win for some reason,,, guess they think gumbo is a La thing only. :)

We just spent 5 days in Breaux Bridge at Poche's Fish and Camp RV park, and 5 days near Kinder, La. (Coushatta's Casino) on the way home from the national rally. Breaux Bridge is known for it's Crawfish Festival the first of May each year. Still got good food every where, but the prices have really gone up in the last 2 years at the restaurants.

megabusa---Bought an M-22 Feb. 2010. Dealer also 2 1/2 hrs. away. Here is MY experience as of today: My first TT and I relate it to buying a new auto only more so. Each dealer sets their own price so their is no real baseline go on when discussing price. I found prices for my TT range from 25K+ to 28K+ down to 17K+ ----all for the same optioned TT. There is LOTS of room for negotiation. The GOOD: looks of TT, weight(though I still want to verify on scales),towability(this was the largest/lightest hard-sided TT we could find). The BAD: lack of Dealer support from MY LOCAL dealer--there is alot to be said for a reputable "LOCAL" dealer say w/in 30 min. of your home---it gets old fixing warranty items because it ends up being cheaper to do it yourself instead of dragging the TT an hr or two away. With 2 boys--ages 9 & 14 we will probably outgrow this TT and be looking for a new TT and tow vehicle w/in a couple of yrs. PM me if you'd like to talk more particulars. Good Luck.
