Just wondering if anyone had ever stayed at this park east of Nashville and what your impressions were.

We stayed there last summer...had a wonderful time...we were up on the hill at first but moved down to across from the stage area...at the time they did not have sewer hook-ups but said they were going to be added later....we parked in a field right next to the restrooms....they had a concert honoring Conway Twitty while we were there...we sat on the patio and listened to the whole thing. We saw Conway's son...Loretta and several other stars..lots to do there..toured the house...they have a pool..music every night up on the hill..just a nice time..Loretta's family work the ranch and love to visit with the guest....Can't wait to go back

alethaj,

Thanks for the review. We too have wondered what it's like there. We pass that exit a couple times a year and would like to stop and stay there next year.

Take the time to stop..the restruant on the freeway is good as well..we ate there getting off the freeway and right before we got back on....we were pulling a 42' toy hauler and had plenty of room to park...the ranch has a working post office...the old homeplace that was recreated for the movie...a large museum... 2 of her travel buses....if you have seen the move Coal Miners Daughter you will feel like you are visiting
an old friend.everything looks so familer..good fishing in the river...like I said..can't wait to go back
