M18 dry weight

We are looking at the Edge M18 and would like to know what is included in the "dry weight", obviously it means that all tanks, including propane tanks are dry. Is the A/C unit included in this weight as well as the awning?

Also, in my printed brochure the GVWR is listed as 3,900 lbs while on the website it is listed as 4,300 lbs. What is the correct figure?

Well, I guess I'm not going to get an answer but that's alright, I just checked the website and the figures have changed again. Dry weight is now 3118 lbs and GVWR is 4395 lbs. That leaves me out in any case because that is definitely past the capabilities of the Ford Escort.

The dry weight includes everything except liquids in the tanks......The Web site is correct as far as number goes....We made some changes to the Edge product that made it gain about 150 - 200lbs......

What changes did Heartland make to the M18 that made it 150 to 200 lbs. heavier?

We changed style of stab Jacks - we added a spare tire bracket and a couple of other engineering changes that made it gain some weight........

Edge M18 Weight Distribution

Can the spare tire and tire carrier be moved to the left side of M18 trailer? After weighing in the trailer, the left side weighs 100lbs.less than the right side (ditch side) when loaded for a trip. Because there is nowhere else to transfer the load (the left side has the bathroom and sofa slide) and adding weight to the left side in the front basement storage area increases the hitch weight even more, could the spare tire and spare tire carrier be moved from the right side to the left side? This would equalize the side to side weight and make the difference to less than 20lbs.
