M32 Bunkhouse - Reconfiguration?

We have a 2021 Mallard M32. I am having thoughts about reconfiguring the bunkhouse by removing the bigger bunk and tv/shelving. My question is what is behind and/or underneath it? Can it just be pushed back or is it a structural component? Has anyone done this or have any idea what is going on behind/underneath there before I make this a total remodel?
