Congratulations on your maiden voyage. That looks like a very peaceful spot with great scenery. Can you tell us where it is exactly and the name of the park / campground?

You can find the park under maricopacountyparks.org. This one is the White Tanks Mountain Regional Park, Located about 30 miles NW of Phoenix in Waddell Az. Summer is really not really the time to visit due to the extreme heat and our desert critters. There are approximately 40 sites at this location. Hope this helps
