Mobile Outfitters All American hitch

Many of us got to see this hitch in Elkhart during a Mobile Outfitters presentation and tour during the Indiana Chapter Rally a couple weeks back.

In my opinion, this hitch seems to really have some promise.

I few of the guys that took the tour made commitments to get the hitch, so by Goshen rally time, I think we'll start to hear some real feedback from Heartlanders that are using them.

It appears these guys are connected to Lippert as a distributor of sorts. The hitch? It looks identical to one I've seen at our Wisconsin Chapter Rallies in the past. While I can't say how well it works, it looks interesting enough. The only thing I didn't like about it was all of the edges of the stamped or cut steel plates were very sharp. I haven't seen one recently so that may have changed. I believe it's original manufacturer is in Wisconsin. If Tom Weber reads this, he may know more about the hitch and how it's now connected to Lippert.

Mobile Outfitters is the aftermarket products division of Lippert.

And yep, the hitch is the one Jerry Clark designed a few years back. Lippert bought that hitch and re-engineered it. Way better that it was originally and added some of their own innovations too. Pretty cool. You'll see it in their booth in Goshen.

Dave49 got one and told me that it did work very well. I am getting one just before the pre rally in Goshen.

We have the first hitch that Jerry Clark designed called TrailerMate and love it. The air cells work really well.

I have a Trailer Mate which seems to be similar to the All American Hitch and Love it also!
