MorRyde Fifth Wheel Pin Box Rating?

What is your Pin box rated for? Our MorRyde Fifth Wheel Pin Box on our 2012 Key largo is rated for 15,500 even though the Gross Rating of the RV is 16,200lbs even tough I don't think we will get near that weight just wondering why they would put a 15,500 lb pin box on a new unit? That is its a 14,000 to 18,000 lb pin box and the 15,500 rating is for the rubber springs?
For some reason today my eyes caught that rating on the side of the Pin box.

Pete, I just read in another thread about a member changing the "spring" in their MorRyde to the next higher rated spring. The "spring" is the term they use for the rubber shear material that actually absorbs the shock motion. This poster also has a large Landmark. I would call Heartland first and ask for a replacement upgrade or call MorRyde. Thay may help you out as well.

My MOR/ryde pin box has a decal for 18 K.
I also had MOR/ryde replace my sheer spring for a heavier model.

Heard back from Mor/Ryde and they think the pinbox will be ok and handle the camper. So going with that.

Forgot to add, after they looked over the pin box. They Mor/Ryde found it was boxed wrong. But is the 18,000 lb box. so no issue at all. Thanks to Mor/ryde and Heartland.

Put the new 18,000 lb sticker on the pinbox yesterday. Again great customer Service from Mor/ryde for sure.
