MPG dropping

I have and 06 diesel f-350. When I purchased it I got right around 16mpg(without towing), now I get 11 to 12 MPG(again without towing). Is there something I can do to get back to 15 mpg or is the new fuel to blame? I have my truck serviced by ford and always on schedule, so I cant imagine they wouldnt have taken the opportunity to change filters or such.

You need to go to the dealer and find out. They will take the opportunity NOT to do anything they think they can get around and still charge you for.

I always ask that they keep the old filters...I want to see them. It's too easy to charge for work not done.

And, in today's economy...$30 X 100 vehciles adds up real quick.
