My Bigfoot by Quadra experience

After Getting a Bigfoot hydraulic stabilizer installed onto my heartland rv, I definatly regret it. Bigfoot is located in Lakeland, Florida, and is near an airport. Roy(owner) and his wife Rita(co-owner) were very rude and inconsiderate. They did not treat me like a valued customer. They called my RV "cheap". I would not recomend buying their stabilizers. Problems with mine: it fails more often than not, meaning it does NOTHING. When it does work, it makes popping noises, and groans. It was a waste of money. I don't normally complain, but as I cannot find a bad review on an active forum, I wanted to share my experience, so the same which has happened to me, does not happen to you. Good luck!
Thank you for your time.

I Googled it and this appears to be a contractor that installs Bigfoot systems. Trace

Re: Watch out for bigfoot brand

Josh_linteres, I have looked at the Bigfoot products a couple of years ago at their main plant in White Pigeon MI. They were very courteous but I decided to wait and bought a new Landmark with the Lippert 4 point leveling systems on it. I suggest that you contact them and see if they won't help you out. Here is their contact information:

Quadra Manufacturing, Inc. / Bigfoot Levelers
PO Box 536

White Pigeon, MI 49099

Roy at the Lakeland location has a reputation for going out of his way to help Big Foot customers. Do not know what happened to Josh.

I dunno, Heartland rigs are anything but "cheap." Don't see any reference to which rig the OP has.

Interestingly, this is his first post, there is no information in the profile that he even owns a Heartland and there is little other info here to verify his posted information on the business. Just a thought for the moderators but without more fact this thread should probably just "go away". It seems to border on libel.

It would be great if the OP would chime in with more details. Otherwise, I agree with Lynn--this seems like a "drive by".

I often wonder if these are someone's competitors making some of these "first post" rants

Seems like quite often they never even come back. Trace

Yeah Trace that is one of my pet peaves. So many times I read posts from people that have urgent problems but never come back to read the helpful replies.
I think we have all the details from the OP. He is just sharing his bad experience with the installation.
May be legit, may not be. Read into it what you want.
Oh, new posts and posters are observed.

Peace

Re: Watch out for bigfoot brand

Let's give Josh a few more days to circle back here, read the feedback and suggestions and tell us more. If we get nothing in a week or so, a moderator will modify the thread title to "My Bigfoot by Quadra experience" - then close the thread.

Josh - if you're reading this, please contact Quadra in White Pigeon at the number in Jay's post. Tell them your story and give them a chance to make this right. To big an investment to not have it working.

Also, no "hit and runs" here. We'll need to rest of the story on how this worked out in order to allow the thread to stay. Reason being, we don't allow campaigns here.

Thanks and best of luck with this.

Re: Watch out for bigfoot brand

I had my Bigfoot installed by Roy in Florida. Everyone there were very nice. I had no problem with them or their work.

I have no serious problems my Bigfoot installation. I have replaced a couple of switches that had an intermittent problem and the folks at White Pigeon were very helpful. They sent me new swithes and gave me great instructions on how to replace them. I agree, unless this OP comes back to verify his post, that it is bogas.

The shop in Florida is:
Roy Trevino
Quadra South East Division
4411 Holden Road
Lakeland, FL 33811

Well the OP has not been back since starting this thread.
Josh, we would like to know if you have contacted the manufacturer as suggested.
Thread is closed.
