Need Tire Size Info

Hi all,

I have a new to me 2013 Road Warrior 415 and I am wanting to buy new tires. The specs on RVUSA show that the tires are 235/80r16e. The unit currently has 235/85r16e tires. Should I go with the spec'd tires or replace with the same size that are on it? I will say that the current tires are pretty close together.

I'm not sure I would trust the information on a website. There's a placard on the off-door-side at the front that includes the original tire size information.

As for changing, one reason to do so is to get a higher quality tire. What tires do you have now?

Hello Kenster911 and welcome to posting on this great forum.
If your current tires are a good known brand that are not too old you might want reconsider the costly replacement.
You should take a look at the DOT date code on the tires.
As far as the sizing many people have gone to the higher (85R) tires.

Thanks all - the current tires are LT's and have great tread left but are starting to crack near the rims. I have checked the PSI rating on the rims and will be putting on G rated tires.
