Gus,

Sometime ago I replaced my bushings, a bushing tool will help if you have worn bushing as they can be very difficult to remove, the same tool can be used to install the new ones also.

Can't you usually drive bushings with the correct O.D. size ratchet socket???

I got my NeverFail bushings back when they were from Reico-Titan (Lippert/Mobile Outfitters bought sales rights for these and CorrectTrack from Reico-Titan.) I only got the bushings. If I had it to do over again, I would buy some thick shackle plates from Dexter along with the bushing upgrade. I think you can only buy the thick shackles with new wetbolts.

Same here. I got mine from Reico-Titan before they sold to Lippert.

I started to do my own, but after surveying the task decided to let Camping World do it. I didn't have all the proper lifting equipment - that was the main thing that made the job look easy. They used two large hydraulic lifts; one on each side to the rear of the axles. Lifted by the frame. Then put large jack stands under the frame on each side for safety support. Then they used the rollaway hyd jacks to support the axles after first removing the wheels. He pounded out the nylon busings with some sort of punch, then pressed in the neverfails with a block and hammer. He did the whole bushing job - two axles, in about an hour and a half.

When I did my wet bolt kit I used my air ratchet to take off the nuts-it was easy and went well. Then pound bolt back from threaded side(you will need new bolts). Then I put air ratchet on the bolt to spin the bolt to loosen up and it will come right out. I put the new brass sleeve on the bolt and pounded it in which popped out the old plastic sleeve all at once. You need to jack up the frame and use jack stands. Also need jacks under each axle-I did one side at a time and I also left my truck hooked up to the trailer to make sure it did not move. Good luck.

Lifting the rig is no problem with the Ground Control jacks, and I've got stands and bottle jacks for the axles. Problem was working in the storage yard with no air supply (and no air ratchet). Only my "Superman" strength to do the job. And obviously, there were some glowing green rocks nearby. I'll give it another go in the spring, after getting some new bolts. Might as well go whole hog.
