New Eddie Bauer 2300rb

Hello, just bought a new 2024 Eddie Bauer 2300rb . I live in NY so it went directly to winter storage . I have tried to research online about it and can’t find much of anything listed . As the basic walk through you get when you buy them isn’t overly technical . I noticed some things during walk through that seem different from the limited info in the online brochure , such as , brochure says it’s 30 amp and I got a 50 amp cord and was told it’s 50 amp . Noticed a second grey tank valve , nowhere does it discuss two grey tanks . Brochure says all Heartlands come solar prepped and lists there is a 30 amp charge controller and roof plug . Didn’t see either only saw the one plug on outside for suitcase solar . Features in brochure says 2 - 30 lb propane tanks came with 2 -20 lb . When I asked the tech who did walk through he didn’t seem to know anything about what it should or shouldn’t have .

Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of the Eddie Bauer units ?

I don't have any specific knowledge of the Eddie Bauer units. Like you, on line info was not helpful.

If Heartland offered 50 amp service as an option, it would likely be to accommodate the prep for a second AC unit.

You should call Heartland customer service. Have you VIN number ready. They should be able to provide you with the build specs and option list for your RV.

Regarding the propane tank size. If 30 lb propane tanks were supposed to be supplied and you got 20 lb, it is possible they were switched out by the dealer. Dealers have been known to rob Peter to pay Paul when an issue comes up with another unit they are selling and then back fill with something else.

Just so you know heartland ( or any other RV manufacture) can change anything on the units, from what is listed in any brochure at any time they deem necessary without notice. Never heard of the eddie versions. 20lbs tanks seems really small to me though.

20 lb tanks are the normal gas grill tanks and come on majority of campers . The 30lb are the larger tanks found on some of the them .
