Sure would like to know how yours is different than mine. IE8 wont open anything but submit a manual. I have all the current updates including Java.

Iwmcguir, wish I could tell you but when my 5yr old dell went up my son gave me his laptop and transferred my files. When something doesn't work I just call him. His favorite saying is " Read the book Dad". Tha's about what I know about a computer. When I read this thread I went and tried the then items you all were talking about and they seemed to work. Sorry can't give you a better answer.

HOM Menu Fixed - Now I.E. 8 Compatible

Hey all you Internet Explorer 8 users - give Heartland Owners Manuals (HOM) another try. LinuxKidd worked it over to make the menu items also clickable. Should be good to go now.

Happy Days! Looks like LinuxKidd tapped his magic wand on IE7, too. Everything works.
