No-Lube Plate Or Grease - What Do You Use?

Plate on the pin. Spray on lithium grease on the hitch.

I have used the silicone Plate for the last two + years. Then silicone spray the locking bar spring and mechanism. It stays MUCH cleaner!

I use a 12 inch lube plate.
I was using a 10 inch plate before I found out that my Reese 18K Elite hitch instructions said to use a 12 inch plate.
The 12" plate gives you more area of contact to distribute the pin box weight over the 5th wheel hitch.
I had to order it online because my local dealer (and most dealers) don't stock the 12".
I also grease my pin and the jaw.
