Anyone familiar with the roads of North Florida and South Georgia? I make a trip several times per year from Valdosta area to St. George Island. I've always used same route: Quitman to Monticello....Monticello to Wakeenah to Wacissa hWY 259.....then hwy 59 to 98 and on to island. Unfortunately this weekend on my return trip I hit a low hanging tree branch and knocked my front AC unit off my 5th wheel. I think it happened between Monticello and Quitman.
Anyone have any route recommendations for this area? I would like to avoid Tallahassee if possible. Thanks in advance.
