North Trail 25 lrss

We just recently purchased a North Trail 25 lrss. I would like to put a slide awning up to keep dirt and debris from over the slide when out. The problem I am running into is that the refrigerator vent cover sits at the top left corner of the slide and would make placing the mounting hardware on the left side impossible. Has anyone ran into this problem and if so how did you get around this. I have searched the major awning manufactures and none of them seem to have a kit to fit that particular slide configuration.

Suggestions and help would be welcome.
