Our new Oakmont 390MBL!!!

We were not interested in buying a new RV, but as RVers know, we had to go see the new campers at the RV show and we were not impressed with anything we saw that day...until we got to the 390MBL! What a floor plan...we are a big family, when we travel we are 6 and a dog, and we were in a TT for 7 years with no problems, but when we saw this floor plan we just fell in love and decided to upgrade. So this is our first 5th wheel trailer and our first huge RV!!! We are ready to enjoy it!


This is she, as she sat on the dealer lot.


As you enter, you are graced by this spacious living area!


The Kitchen area is very well designed.


we have always had a dinette booth, so the hard table and chairs is going to be new to us, but we will manage.


Ive always complained about having the TV 90 degrees from the couch, but as long as the recliners are straight ahead, that's OK, because that's where I sit! LOL


And this is what sold us...the kids love the room and the loft!


Of course, this is awesome....a KING size bed and a huge closet!!! This isn't camping any more!! LOL


Here we are picking our new Home away from Home at the dealership. First time towing a huge 5th wheel.


We are lucky it still fits on our backyard!

Sure will....I just finished wiring an RV pedestal to correctly power the RV while at home and I'm just chilling in the theater seating! Lol

I like that lock. Was it hard to install? I find that I am outside a lot when I think of something in the camper, but have to go in the house for the keys. That's a nice solution.

They are easily installed. At the last rally we went to I watched one get changed out during a cup of coffee. I installed the version 3 and mounted the keypad under the lock to make it easier for my vertically challenged wife to reach.

Arriving at Cedar Hill Park in Texas for our first trip on the Oakmont!


The rig set up....the pad was a little steep but the Level up system worked great...didnt even need pads.


The best part about camping...and she seems to like the living space!


And we got to test the water resistance!!!

We did find some problems in the RV that will be addressing, but nothing major...
