Outdoor Speakers

I also, have a blown exterior speaker. I have looked at it and replacing a 5 1/4" speaker for the same is crazy. I just bought a set of Sony Marine Speakers 6 1/2". I will install these over the weekend. It's amazing how the RV industry is cutting on quality. Just like the 16" rims & tires. I like things simple. NOT :mad:

On our unit anything bigger then 5.25 in will be to deep and will interfear with the dresser drawers.

I will have to cut about a 2 1/2' hole at the back of the dresser. I have checked and with the speakers I got they don't interfere with the drawers.
The other option would be to space them off of the trailer about 1/2" with a bezel or spacer of some type.

Everyone is going to 6 1/2" speakers now. It's hard to find an upgraded speaker in 5 1/4". Trace
