While my trailer is in storage, a slide topper and awning face the southwest sun. I've looked at the plastic awning cover at CW. About $150 for twenty feet. I was thinking of using corrugated drainage pipe. I can get fifty feet for $45. All I need to do is slice the side and cut to fit. Has anyone tried this apporach? I'm on the fence whether to get solid or perforated drainage pipe. Any opinions?
