We just spent 10 days out dry camping, every system worked flawlessly! The four T-105's and inverter powered the rig nicely, even when using the lights when ever we wanted and using the electric coffee maker before generator hours.
The first few days were amazingly warm, in the mid 80's, but noy to worry the Yamaha 3000Iseb powered the AC's, one unit at a time, effortlessly.
We used the MR Heater with a 10# tank in the rig to take the edge off in the AM's. It uses a lot less gas / power than the onboard unit..........
I am still toying with mounting a wall catalytic unit...............
We used 150 gals of wayer, the 75 on board and another 75 from the camp faucet for washing dishes and clean up............
I use 5 gal jugs with a Dolphin pump on a collapsible hand truck to fill them, pretty easy...............
When we rolled up to dump the panel was out of fresh and the tanks were showing 2/3 full............
All in all it was our best trip ever, even topping Pismo Beach. We took the dogs to Badwater every day ro run etc...................
The boys at NAWS China Lake even chipped in by giving us, almost daily, a spectacular air show, with acrobatics and flyovers.............
It is nice to be home...........................
On Edit: Cell phone reception is still spoty at best, although the On-Star unit with Verizon service was remarkable...
WIFI has come to Death Valley, it is available at the ranch general store, at the museum at the visitor center and it works very nicely from the bar at the Furnace Creek Inn.....................
