Pests in A/C cowl

Anyone have a good suggestion on how to keep pests like wasps and birds from nesting inside the A/C cowl on the roof during long storage?

I just found a very large wasp nest inside of my king pin the other day . . .

I have evicted them . . . permanently.

Wasps, especially the mud kind are a big nuesance around our place. On my last camper I turned the fan on only to hear and feel a very abnormal vibration. Well you know guessed it they built on one of the blades. There was also a small bird nest in there too.

I figured I could screen the inside of the entire cowl gills somehow.
