We arrived home safely after a 11 hour trek from Indiana to Pennsylvania. We spent much of the drive reviewing and "re-living" our favorite portions of the most wonderful few days we've ever experienced. George & I agree that the dinner at Yoder's Farm, with Jim's simple heartfelt thanks for the food and fellowship , was the highlight. This was followed by Friday's tour of the Lippert, Flair and Heartland plants - how informative and fun !

We are blown away by Heartland's generosity during the Rally , starting with the on-site repair service (which we hadn't signed up for, but Melanie and her team got us all fixed up, including our non-functioning bedroom air conditioner) ! Then to the t-shirts, tour, barbeque lunch and dinner and that fantastic band on Sat nite.... this is a company that has gone all out for us. Scott Tuttle is just as open and straightforward as I've come to expect on this forum. We appreciate his support and honesty on issues. We only hope that the company doesn't lose its original vision - don't start changing those great design ideas that set them apart (e.g. keep the water manifolds ; don't let Mobile Suites or HR's Presidential Suite catch up !)

Finally - to Jim and Nancy Beletti - a HUGE THANK YOU for organizing and pulling the Rally together, with the help of all the other owners that worked so hard to give us this most fantastic experience. We are so thankful to all of you and can't wait to see you all again in Branson, if not sooner !!! KUDOS TO HEARTLAND AND ALL THE OWNERS - WHAT A TERRIFIC BUNCH OF PEOPLE:)

Lindsay (and George),

Thanks so much for the kind words. We're so happy that you enjoyed the rally and felt that it was worth taking the time for. As you mentioned, we had such great help there with all the volunteer teams. Thanks Teams!!!

Speaking of Heartland generosity, I was trying to calculate how much the service cost them. Using some quick math, for labor alone, I am estimating it at about $20,000. Certainly, some of the work was of a warranty nature and would have been paid at some point to some dealer but most much of the work was non-warranty in nature and was truly free to us!

Nancy, Ruby, Emme and I will really miss you, George, Butch and Skippy. Not sure how we'll be able to get together between big rallies but who knows?

How did Skippy do on the ride home? Once I review the pictures I took of the 2 new furry couples, I'll email them to you. Email me through the forum if you do not have my personal address.

Be well my new friends!

Jim

Skippy didn't get sick at all coming home !! We think (hope) he's over it and knows now that every trip doesn't end at the veterinarians:eek: .

We hope to see you and your family between rallies - maybe we can talk Tom & Judy of Ypsi into hooking up somewhere, too - we can have "mini rallies" whenever it works for everyone !

George has some great photos and will wait to see your instructions on posting them for all to see....can't wait to see the "furry foursome" - Skippy is just in love with both Ruby and Emme (and sends his kisses !)

Thanks

We would just like to second everything that George and Lindsey said. Jim, this rally far exceeded our expectations and you set the standard with your serving attitude.None We are looking forward to meeting all of you guys in Branson and hopefully at other places during the year. If any of you are in Michigan or Texas, please let us know.

P.S. Ellie already misses her new friends.

George and Lindsay - you nearly said it all. I would also like to thank Scott for the golf outing on Wednesday (or was it Thursday?). Also, to Rob Reid of Great Lakes for having units available for browsing (and drooling) about. Oh, if only Heartland had not dropped the 3655RD model!

Everyone throughout the rally was so friendly. At the beginning of the rally, we had pretty well decided to skip the Branson trip next year and wait for the 2009 rally back in Goshen, but by the end of the rally we are about 90% sure we will be at Branson. Thanks, everyone for a great time.

For those who missed it, please don't miss another opportunity. It is so great to see all of those Heartland products together in one campground.

We got back about 8:30 last night - drove through heavy rain in most areas and am happy to report that the fix on the kitchen slide kept the carpet dry.

Thanks for the memories.
This was our first rally....and if all rallies are like this, we shall pass a good time. Everything was well, well....lost for the word....but it was great.
I would like to thank the person who left a rock lady bug family...they moved right in...and blend so well since they are painted.
The Luv Shak brought lots of smiles, questions, and pictures.....we love it....creating miles of SMILES

Well said George and Lindsey!!! This being my first Heartland Rally leaves me hoping Lin & I can make Branson. I was so impressed by all the work that was available. We finished up at Mor/ryde today and are scheduled for Rec Specialties tomorrow. Once the work is completed we'll be heading up to the U.P. to do some catching up on our sleep. Thanks to all for making us feel like part of the family. "THANKS HEARTLAND" Thanks to the Rally Staff also.

Well Stated !

Sharol and I echo the kudos you all have stated. It really was the most enjoyable event we have attended in many years. Many thanks to all for their contributions to the 2007 Rally.

We left Goshen Sunday and headed to Holland MI, stayed at Holland State Park on the Beach campground. Very nice blacktop sites, and a good nights sleep. Now are at the Little River Casino RV Park near Manistee MI for about three days visiting family, then home to Wolverine MI.

Ray: Beep your horn when you pass exit 301 on I-75 heading to my home country, Yooperland.

Sue and I are resting in Berlin Center Ohio at the Corps of Engineers park. We had a wonderful time this year and enjoyed meeting so many new friends, as well as seeing the one's we met last year. The Heartland Owners are a wonderful family and Jim and Nancy deserve our gratitude for all the countless hours they put in to make this such a fun event. Scott Tuttle, David Parton and Jim Fenner worked tirelessly throughout the Rally to make sure that we were taken care of. To them and the rest of the Heartland staff, our grateful thanks. To all the owners who weren't able to come this year, we missed you and hope to see you in Branson next June.

We got home safely late Monday afternoon. We drove through a number of rain showers and no wet carpets during our trip. Yes our 31 inch flat screen tv works great! I set it up last night in our entertainment center and it looks great. To thoughs who were not at the 2007 Rally I was the lukey one to win the big prize at the Rally. I want to thank the Wecome committee for a great job and to all the other committee people you all who were on committees great job!! I so enjoyed visting with everyone who dared to ride on the golf cart with me. Jim and to all the repair men ans ladies and to Heartland people Good job well done!! Evans & Lana

2007 Owners Rally

This was our 1st rally with Heartland and Beth and I were very impressed with how every thingwent together. What really impressed me the most was how Heartland and Lippert seemed to work hand in hand and sovled so many problems for so many people in such a short time. I can't miss saying thanks to the people who worked for Rob Reid who also did a good job on alot of warrenty work.
The food and entertainment was great and I would like to tell Jim and Nancy and everyone else that helped in this event that we really appriciate what you have accomplished .
Hope to see you at the 2008 Rally
Leith & Beth

Well, we also made it back to Michigan in one piece, even after driving through some of the worst rainstorms, saw many cars in ditches, so we were doubly glad to make it home safe
Spent most of our drive talking and rehashing the rally. Again, Heartland stepped up to the plate and made sure everyone was taken care of, from the least little problems, to the BIG ones! Thanks Heartland for all of your efforts and sincere thanks to Scott, Tim and all of the workers for all of their efforts!
And of course, a big THANKS for Jim & Nancy Beletti for all of the time they spent coordinating such a successful rally. Being on a committee, I was able to see first hand just how much work is involved in creating such a fantastic event.
Will be anxiously waiting to see my work schedule for next year to see if we'll be able to meet everyone at Branson!!!!

What else can I say. Everyone has already said it.!!! GREAT rally. We got home yesterday about 5 pm after 2 days of travel. The first night we stayed at what had to be the worst camp ground ever (Elon beach,OH). We are looking forward to Branson next year and I have made reservations for the East Coast Rally so we will be there in October.
