I just bought a propane fire pit. It came supplied with a regulator and hose connection to a 20 lb tank. Can that type of appliance be run connected to the quick connect outlet on the Edge trailer?

Will not work because it will be double regulated. The quick disconnect is after the regulator on your tanks .
You will have to eliminate the regulator on your fire pit or use another tank.

it is also likely also a high pressure firepit. The quick disconnect is low pressure. You can double regulate if the first reg is a certain amount higher than the second, but not likely in your case.

I think you'd have to attach this directly to the pit without the regulator that came with it as Rloren suggested. Hopefully the valve/shutoff for the pit is not attached to the regulator.
