Propane Water Heater

I am still fairly new to living full time in my 2021 Heartland 5th wheel , so sorry if this is a silly question. My propane e water heater gives me intermittent hot water. Some day I can take a show with plenty of how water and other days I get none. I have 2 30lb propane tanks. O e appears to still be full and the other one I just filled but it was at half. Both valves were ope . I can use my propane stove with no problems.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Take the outside cover off the water heater and look for spider webs or debris in the gas tube. Also, when you turn on your propane tanks, do it very slowly until about a quarter open then open the rest of the way.
