Proper Type of Caulk to use on the Rubber Roof

Hello. I hope this is the proper place to ask this question. We have a 2011 Big Horn and there are a few nicks from some hail we were in. I'd like to caulk over those nicks. The guy who walked us through the rig told us there is a certain caulk to use, but I don't remember the type.

Thanks

Hi Todd,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners forum and family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

I have a can of the caulk on the shelf in my garage now... but I am not at home...Someone will jump in here soon and give you the name of it.

Enjoy the forum.

It is not cault. It is a self leveling lap cement called dicor. It comes in a caulk like tube. You simply clean the area with rubbing alcohol and put this on. It will level out into a puddle just like you see on the other joints on your roof. Easy to use.' Any RV place should have it.

Dicor also makes one for "vertical" applications (non-sag) should you need it on a wall or window or whatever!
