I guess this is now my home park. Next trip planned is Canyon Lake, TX. View attachment 48639

I've looked at that park as a possible stop. Rates are very reasonable for being right on the beach. County park as I recall. Do they have full hookups w/50 amp? How long is maximum stay?

Yes it is a county park. Yes it is full 50 with reasonable water pressure. It can be a little noisy during the day, but nice and quiet at night.

Their site does not list a maximum stay. There does appear to be a few full timers there. One has a wooden deck attached.

Dave;

Maybe I am blind, but don't you use the supports for your rear awning? I would be afraid of the wind grabbing it.

We liked Quintana Beach a lot. It's real interesting seeing those huge LNG tankers come in. BTW, be careful walking your dog (or yourself) on that hill to the north of the office. We encountered a rattlesnake in that area.
