Ramp door rotten

Hi,my ramp door is rotten does anyone have any pictures and advise on how to redo ,or disassemble the door ,anything will help thanks

Hi DRS,

I'm assuming you must be out of warranty. Otherwise you could get it replaced under warranty.

Over the years there have been several posts about similar problems where the ramp had to be replaced. You should contact the ramp manufacturer - possibly Lippert. If you don't know who made the door, you can call Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032 / 574-262-8030. Have your VIN # ready. They should be able to tell you.

Also, consider opening up a case with Lippert - the maker of that door. They have helped a few people out with a replacement door (door only, no hardware, no labor).

This is how i repaired ours. Fortunately I noticed an issue before the ramp completely broke. Go to post #188 There is also a link to the full repair on the post.
