Replace stove/oven with a cabinet.

We decided to replace the stove/oven with cabinets and counter top. Just wondering if anyone else has done the same. My main problem is finding a cabinet to fit in the opening that will closely match the existing cabinets. Worst case scenerio is just put shelves in place and fabricate a door. Any suggestions? before I start??

I would call Heartland Parts dept, with your VIN and they may have the ability to fabricate/match your existing cabinets. This is a feature that is being done on some new models (ie delete oven).

If the storage option is available in place of oven on your model/floorplan, Heartland should be able to provide the cabinets used in that option.

So you don't need the cook top or oven? Might be hard to re-sell down the road. I would do this in a way that could be reversed without damage. The solution would be a visit the the local cabinet shop for a custom made slide in piece. They should be able to match style and color.
