Replaced Tires And Wheels

I installed Michelin XPS rib, an LT tire. I checked their website and called customer service. They are clearly rated and recommended for use on a trailer. I had Mission tires, and this spring found a 6 inch crack in the sidewall that was .050 deep. I replaced them all and threw the Missions away.

SVD: Approximately how many miles did you have on those Mission tires when you found the defect??

I found it when I took it out of the portable shelter I have it in this spring. It was on the inside sidewall. I would say they had less than 1500 miles. As much as I wanted to believe they were going to work for me, that ended it. I didn't pursue anything with the tire manufacturer, and the trailer is out of warranty.
