Resale Values M18 7 Other Newbie Questions

My wife and I went to a dealer and looked at the M18. So we have a few questions

1) Potential Resale value if upgrading in the future?
2) Weight Limit of upper bunk over queen can it be reinforced?
3) Why buy this over an ECO RV 718QB or Jayco Feather Sport.
4) Paint worth the cost?
5) Anyone willing to share pricing so I can guage what my dealer is charing?

Hi smeakim,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and hopefully to the family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information.

Kinda hard to say what the value will be in the future. A lot of variables there, but Heartland products do appear to be holding their resale value very well.

I'm sure someone will jump in on the other questions, but we do ask that you do your pricing discussion in PM's or email.

Item 2 - I hav e come up with a pricier option. This fall/winter I am going to have a millwrighting company I know through work make up a new bunk frame from 1 1/2 inch aluminum tubing. I'll have another friend powder coat the aluminum beige. This is the only viable option we could come up with. When I get it done I will post pics.
