Round A/C ceiling vent removal

In my 2011 Big Country there are round ceiling a/c vents that I need to remove to clean them. I think this has been addressed before but I cannot find it. I want to remove them with out breaking them. Is there a secret or just brute force.

Pull with one finger on the outside edge of one side while holding the opposite side. There are 4 tabs holding it. If only one comes away, move to a 2nd tab 90 degrees around the edge and pull again.

It can help to slide the vent cover (it only moves slightly) towards the side you want to pull away from the ceiling.

If you can locate one of the tabs it helps to work at each of the tabs.
