We looked at a 2013 Elkridge yesterday and may end purchasing it today. I understand that the BH and BC are more high-end and their cost reflects this fact. We would have purchased one but they are just too heavy for my truck. Will the more economical Greystone, Sundance ,and Elkridges products hold up as well after a few years ?

Buckeye, I doubt that the "high end"units will last longer than a Greystone, Sundance or Elkridge. They are all built using the same materials, larger frames and axles are used for heavier units and different appliances are called out. Wood work is really the biggest difference.

We've had our ElkRidge going on 3 years, have probably 40k miles on it. We've had similar issues with various components, just like the bigger, more expensive rigs, but the coach has really served us well. We try to go somewhere once a month for long weekends, and about 3 bigger trips throughout the year. We travelled for a month last year to the rally in Gillette, WY and other areas.

For full-time living, I don't think the ER, GS and SD are made for that, but I know there are folks doing it.

Our ElkRidge has everything we need to be fairly comfortable in the traveling we do. Yes, we dream of a Bighorn or Landmark down the road, but I am not at all unhappy with our current "Mammoth".

PM me if you want more details.

I looked at your Elkridge Heartland floorplan and it is the same layout My DW and I have. Your Elkridge is an extremely nice rig and I am sure very comfortable-you seem to get alot of use out of it.

Another satisfied customer here for RV Outlet. We made the 3 1/2 hour drive as even the Chesapeake RV Solutions dealer could not come close to the price and what they gave us on our trade.

We had some issues on the PDI that I thought maybe they should have caught ahead of time but BJ and his crew did a great job of resolving everything on the spot except for a discolored bathroom faucet. They shipped me a new one already and I swapped it out tonight. Other than that and a small problem with the generator I couldn't be happier. BJ is getting me set up with the local Cummins/Onan dealer to get that looked at so we don't have to drive back over there for that.

Hopefully our new Cyclone will last us many years so I hope they are still around when it comes time for a new one!
