RW 4275 garage couch

Can only one side of the garage couch be lowered?
I added some storage shelving on one side and don't want to remove it if I can just lower one side.

not unless you disconnect that side from the chain drive mechanism or the cross shaft above if the drive motor is on the opposite side. My drive motor is on the curb/passenger side. Good luck
