Safety tip - if you carry a jump start power pack.

This was a call my department recently responded to. Wasn't there, but apparently the car was totaled and the house damaged.

Jump pack kept in the trunk in a way that allowed a short.

That device SHOULD have an "ENERGIZE" switch, and not be electrically live at the clamps until the switch is pressed. ***********!! For now, if you have one of these, wrap one of the clamps in a non-conductor like a rag or rubber glove and secure it with a rubber band or mini bungee.
