I called Simple Tire and they said that Sailuns are still avail and they don't keep any tire for more than 4 yrs old (DOT stamp) they say. No guarantees on getting the newest ones when picked. That being said, I don't see Sailuns listing tires for trailers on their website. The Sailuns on our BC were made in either '16 or '17 as coach was made on April/May of '17. Upon having it at our old RV dealer (keeping up good relations) last year for some service, I asked the tech about the tires and he said they all look very good and wouldn't worry about them. Yes, I agree they all still look like new as they are covered during the summer, but the fact that they are 8-9 years old has me thinking otherwise.
Should I still consider Sailuns even tho they don't seem to listed by Sailun or just go w/ the Hercules 901's?
I wouldn't purchase a tire that is 4 years old before it hit the road for use. 7 years is the max... now saying that Michelin for their XPS Rib tires say 10 years max.
Not sure your tire size but worth looking into....

Thank you Dave and Dahillbilly. Closest 901 dealer is about 45 minutes away. After clicking onto link from Dave, there are several places within a few miles from me that are listed as Sailun dealers. Now whether or not they mount them is another story .....but will inquire anyways w/ them. Doesn't hurt.
