Sailun tires

Was watching the NASCAR race yesterday and for some reason, got to thinking that I'll probly need to replace the tires on our '18 BC (made in '17). No big trips planned for this year. They are always covered while here at the house, but still going on 7 years old and look like new. So went to tire gurus website and they did not show and Sailun tires for it (came with them). Went to Sailun's website and same thing. Did Sailun drop tires for RV's? RV is in storage and unable to get to it till next month or so. If Sailun's are not avail, what are folks going with then? Thought I recall GY Endurance was getting good reviews, but probly at a GY price!

Ordered 6 Saliuns last summer and they were drop-shipped 3 days later.... with dates only a few months old.

Check out Simple Tire for your particular size needed....they have many warehouses nationwide.

We stopped on February 1st, 2022 in Tolleson at Best Drive and had 6 installed, while enroute to our next stop. The pit stop took them under an hour to change all 6 tires.
The born-on date was under 4 months on all tires.

purchased Hercules 14ply last spring tp replace original tires on 2017 5th wheel, the originals started to crack from aging, very few miles on them.

We bought Hartland tires from Discount Tire for our Cyclone. We've been very happy with them. Made an 11,000 mile round trip to Alaska on them and they held up beautifully. I also liked their warranty that's good at any Discount Tire store in the nation.

Heartland Tires are a private label for Discount Tire and are made in China as well.There are 2 levels of this tire and priced per level.Only available through Discount Tire.
You can purchase a replacement warranty for these tires in case of a cut,nail etc.

I had a set of S637 G rated Sailun’s put on my 2019 Bighorn 2 weeks ago, took them 1 day to get them from their warehouse.
They said they had 38 in stock.
These replaced a 5 year old set of Westlakes that came on the 5er.
I had run 2 sets over the 8 years I owned my last 5er, loved them.

I bought 6 from SimpleTire in October 2020 after our spring hangers broke, they were delivered in a few days, WalMart also had them on their website but saw a few comments from people who bought from WalMart online received them with SimpleTire tape on them, so I just went to the source. Then there was the recall, the only place I could find that could get them and install them so I didn’t have to pay out of pocket was NTB, National Tire and Battery, every other “authorized retailer” in our area on the Sailun website wanted to provide some “equal”, I was not going for that nonsense.

Hercules 901 tires made by Cooper tires are another excellent choice. If you know.Cooper you know tires. They are easily available at any Cooper dealer.

Thank you all!! Not sure what the Guru's have to say yet cuz I haven't stopped by to inquire. If they cannot get the Sailun's or are not being made, I like the 901 suggestion as a alternative.

We have a set of Hartland tires. 4 yrs old. ~30K miles. Still look like new. All steel belts. Have worn evenly whereas the OEM Sailuns at 3 years & 30K miles were in bad shape. Be looking at another set sometime next year

I bought 4 Sailun's through Walmart in September, received in 3 days. There price was much less than any other internet site. They shipped them to my home and I took them to Walmart for installation and balance for a very reasonable price.

Had six new Sailuns put on our 2016 Cyclone last month by Pomp's. Replaced the originals because they were out of date. Over the years only had one failure, and it wasn't bad; minimal damage. Pomp's in Fort Wayne was great to work with.

Ordered 5 Sailuns 2 days ago with Simple Tire. Just received them today with date codes just a few months old. Not bad as nobody in town carried them in stock.

I have a Cyclone 300c and am in need of new tires. I have 10 ply Michelin truck tires on now and have been very happy with them. I have 7000 lb axles with 8 lug wheels. I would like to go to the 14 ply G rated Sailuns but cant see the wheel rating for psi ( without removing tires) so I messaged Heartland and gave them all of my trailer specs and asked them. My response was to say the least disheartening. " we do not recommend any upgrades and will not warranty any upgrades from original specs as the rv was made with". I asked about tires specifically and was again told the same. All I was asking is if the wheels would handle going from 80 psi to 110 psi. Can someone here please answer?

crawl under your unit and look on the back side of the rim. The Psi rating is stamped on the inside of the rim and visible. You do not need to remove rim from trailer or tire from rim

Or weight rating for 110psi tires which is 3,750 lb.

have a 2018 Torque 327 w/ 7k axles & the factory wheels are rated for 110psi so I went with the Hercules 14 ply tires last year.
