Savannah Ga to Wichita Falls Texas

Left the KOA in Richmond Hill Georgia Sunday morning and arrived here in Wichita Falls Texas this afternoon. Played it safe and kept on the southern route just missing the storms. Only had maybe 15 mins of rain Monday evening and wind for most of the trip. Not one single problem with our Bighorn or new truck. Even the Louisiana roads couldn't shake loose the Bighorn. 1400 miles 9.5 mpg and enough wind to get your attention.
So after 10 years of working the campgrounds we are now campers, ahhhh nice feeling that your next door neighbor won't be knocking on my door at 2:00 am saying the Internet is slow!
Well just wanted to share how happy we are with our Bighorn.....

Hi Bill! Glad you and Sue made it safely. Funny about not being a campground employee anymore - my Internet blows here at the CG so I stuck the USB modem in.
