We are in Savannah, Ga. at "The Red Gate Farm Campground" it is a fairley new campground located about 8 miles from downtown Svannah most of the sites are located around the edge of a large field and not all of the sites are full hook up. There is a little road noise but we would stop here again. There are 2 other Heartland's here 1 Bighorn and a Big Country. Not be able to talk to the owners of the BC. But we talked to the owners of the BH and they are new to RVing and are Fulltimers from Ocean City, Maryland they said that they have looked on the Forum and liked it but have not joined the Owners Club . After talking to them about all of the Rallys and what goes on at the Rallys they said that its sounds like something they would enjoy and are going to join the Club.:)

Great job talking up the Heartland Owner Club! We haven't taken the rig down to Savannah cuz of the lack of campgrounds in the area. 3 years ago, some friends when down and ended up staying on Tybee Island.

Hi Calvin and Judy, Hope you are enjoying Savanah. beautiful city and the history of the how the streets were laid is pretty cool.
The only place I have ever stayed in Savanah is Skidaway. Like NABO, we have avoided staying there because of the lack of campgrounds close by.
Sounds like you have found a nice one and will have have to try it for a weekend.
Have fun and travel safe.
