Sewer hose storage

Have a new fuel 287, the sewer hose storage tube is only 26” long, weak sauce, anyone have any suggestions to either make it longer or a good one to buy that is at least 47”?

I put that very one on the back door (bottom) of my FUEL-250. I first tried mounting it on
the left side up front. (I attached another metal arm way up front to support it) but it was
closer to the generator exhaust than I wanted. Eventually i want to fabricate a side to side 8'
one that goes under the entire trailer side to side (not front to rear).

I have no idea why they even bother with a 26" tube - Until I put the tube on the back I just
kept all my hoses in a big rubbermaid tote.

I use two of these on our trailer. I added T-bolt hose clamps around the center where the two pipes slide together. Once the clamps were tight the hose holder had no sag.

These are not the exact clamps I used, but similar. I have an assortment of T-bolts from our boats.

I supported the center of mine also with 2 clamps made for sewer hose holders so it's supported by the edge and two other spots. It doesn't move on the door.

Hmmm not so much a design idea as a problem solver imo, was looking for a fix to an issue or so I thought.

While I have an under trailer storage tube I use a (66L ?) covered storage tub from walmart. Several hoses and other sewer related items all stay together.

I'm cofused? I store mine in the rear bumper, pull end cap off and it slides right in. Is this not standard on most trailers?

I took one of those, caps for both ends, and a section of PVC rain gutter slightly smaller to slide in and out and attached it under the trailer, bolted to the frame. The hose lays on the sliding piece of rain gutter to move it in and out as needed.

I don't have a rear bumper, just one large shell (top to bottom, side to side).
