i found this xg-sf3000 generator on ebay. Has anyone experience with these generators? The price and what they claim seem to good to be true.

buy a honda, any model and you will have the best and quietest gen. On the market.

I bought the Yamaha EF2400if also. It's very quite, more powerful than the Honda 2000. I discovered that fresh gasoline is needed. I was using some old mower gas from last season on a Florida trip this winter and it wouldn't keep running. I had to pump out the gas and replace it with fresh (Flying J) before it would run continuously.

I think I am going to go for it. 2700 rated watts at 59dB for $555 with free shipping --it's too hard to pass on.

I have a Yamaha also, but this seems to be a decent unit. The extra 600 watts is BIG when you're running the AC. $1000 for a 3000 watt QUIET generator is a good deal. This isn't a contractor grade generator but how much are you planning on using it?
