First off, I don't have a monkey in this circus. I found this interesting article about aftermarket shock absorbers in the recent edition of Trailer Life. It all makes sense to me. Especially when compared to the useless mounting angle of the factory installed shocks...Don

I see how this improves the shock performance, but does it make a noticeable difference in the trailer? I've never noticed mine bouncing much...

Lippert makes a shock kit that you can buy at Camping World at about 1/2 the cost. The only position where it does not fit is where you have a horizontal drive bar. I talked to the guy at Lippert who developed the kit and he was going to have a fix for this location. The Lippert guy is the same guy that developed the Ground Control, Sonny.
