Shower light bulb replacement.

Our 2017 Newport shower light burned out a while back. It went from bright to barely on. I ordered replacement bulbs according to the specification in the light. After replacing the bulb and reassembling the light, it was still dim. Nor as dim as the one that blew, but nowhere near the bright light it used to be. Has anyone had a similar issue, and how did you resolve it?

I'd make sure the ground wire is tight & has a good clean connection.

It's a two wire 12 volt light.

yes and a weak ground will not let the full voltage pass though resulting in dimmer light

We figured it out. When the bulb blew out, the circuit reset on the dimmest setting. All I had to do was turn it up. Feel a little embarrassed but I've never worked on the lights with the central controllers before.
