Hi Dave,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

I changed your post a little so hopefully we will get some answers soon. I personally don't know of any real maintenance that needs to be done, except keep it clean.

Enjoy the forum.

I also spray the geared rails and rams with a little Silicone. I figure it can't hurt. If its not good please let me know.

I spray my geared rails with Dri Lube. The seals just get washed when I was the rig. That's all I do.

I'm getting black marks on the slideouts where the seals rub when traveling (I guess thats how they get there). I'm tempted to put some silicone on the seals to help them slide a little, I have cleaned and waxed the walls and thought that would help but it didn't. Anyone have any suggestions?

I use the dry lube that is available at most RV stores because there is no dirt built up.

Everyone is doing what is needed. Must use a dry silicone lubricant that will not attract dirt or dust. The dirt or dust build up will only make things worse.
