Slide out problem

I have a 2014 Heartland Trailrunner. I have a 13 foot slide out that levels when all the way out. When putting the slide in there is not enough power to move the slide. This last camping trip I had to have 2 buddies push the slide from the outside while pushing the button to retract the slide. It has been getting weaker and weaker, in the last few trips. I was plugged into 30 amp power at a campsite while putting the slide in. Any thoughts??? I use slide out lube on the rails and gears most trips before putting the slide in.

Is it an electric slide, or hydraulic? When you say "too weak" can you be more specific. Does the motor make any unusual noise? Do you hear the motor running, but there's no movement of the slide?

I believe it's an electric lippert style slide. When I press the button to retract the slide it makes a quick electric sound as if trying to run, but then stops as if there is not enough power to pull it in. Once it is in a foot or so the motor will take over and pull it in the rest of the way. I have a new battery and was plugged into power when the issue happened. I have a lippert style electric slide I believe.

If the slide stops and then is able to restart after a few seconds, it's likely the 12V DC mini-circuit breaker tripping and automatically resetting.

Located near the battery, you'll find a row of small circuit breakers covered by a red rubber boot. They're connected by a copper buss bar on one side of the breakers.

The breaker for the slide may be weak, causing it to trip and reset. Replacements cost $10 or less and are available from local dealers, some auto parts stores, and boat parts stores. If someone else operates the slide while you put your ear close to the breakers, you can probably hear which one is tripping.

I've attached a picture to help you identify the breakers, although your arrangement may not look quite the same or be in the same order.
