Slide slides on out

I saw this on another rv site. (SOB) It's a Swintech slide. How can this happen? Kinda got me concerned after I saw it.

Jerry, my DW showed me your first photo and I was equally shocked. However, on closer inspection, IMHO, I think the slide was intentionally rremoved for some reason. If you look closely, there is no damage to the slide where it contacts the ground on the lower corner closest to the photographer. Also, the top of the slide is resting on the bench of the picinic table, again without any apparent damage, which I think would occur if this heavy unit fell out.

Note there is no interior fascia trim on the slide and another photo shows ladders and tools in it. Rainy day, though, not too good for the furniture.

I agree Lou, after taking a closer look I believe it was being repaired also. I guess I had imagined this in my mind before. Then I find this picture and thought, I've always wondered about this. You watch the slide (schwintek) go out and as it meets the wall it gets kinda tight and motor automatically cuts off. I've often wondered what would happen if it didn't stop?
Has anyone ever thought about putting ( or can you ) a larger Schwintek motor's on the slides? I've had 2 short out so far.
