Slide weight

2015 Newport. What should the slide weight be, where the recliner chairs are. With slide in and slide out. I was buying those recliners but the weight was over 300lbs the specs said.

Where did the 300lb number actually come from? That's not even 2 human adults, so it seems fishy for a slide.
